EAU DE VIE CILIEGIAIn Friuli, fruit distillation is an art which has been practised for centuries and handed down from one generation to the next. Ripened to the appropriate point, the fruits are carefully selected. The fermentation process is long, followed by closely monitored ageing. This process gives the distillate its absolutely unique aroma and flavour.
Only perfectly ripe, locally picked ‘duracine’ cherries, noted for their firm flesh, are used. The fruit is distilled in typical small copper boilers. Served at room temperature, this eau de vie is an ideal addition to fruit salads and desserts for enhanced aroma.Alcoholic content: 43° Bottle size: 50 cl
